On December 2, 2008, the United Services Organization (USO) Metropolitan Washington chapter inducted Gary Kyle (President & COO, Government Solutions) to its Board of Directors.  He joins a diverse group that includes senior military leaders and other industry executives who assist the USO through volunteerism, raising funds, and providing other types of contributions required for the various essential programs.  The USO is a 67-year old, congressionally chartered, private, nonprofit organization that depends on the generosity of individuals and corporations to meet the needs of military members and their families.  Since before the United States entered World War II, the USO has been the bridge between the American public and the U.S. military.  Today, the USO provides its programs and services at more than 130 locations around the world.
